We believe that structures should have the capacity to be expanded and modified over time to adapt to the changing needs of their inhabitants. This is truly a "green" concept in that buildings can have long and rich lives being constantly changed. Simple forms and rational floor plans allow this to occur. Typical programs for additions include greatrooms, kitchens, master suites, main floor laundry rooms and garages. Plan changes are meant to improve the function and circulation. Exterior elevations and forms are meant to complement the existing building, and in many cases, disguise earlier, less sensitive additions.
